Internet Marketing Consultant – Charlotte, NC
Practis, a leading national provider of web services to the health care vertical, is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial and talented Internet Marketing Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing SEO strategy as well as the creation, implementation and management of client PPC campaigns/programs and SEO engagements. This is a unique opportunity to implement strategy, grow and manage SEO and SEM programs for both internal and external needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify areas of optimization for client, program and internal websites; manage implementation
- Research, create, implement and manage client PPC campaigns and programs
- Research/develop keywords and metadata, identify landing pages
- Research/identify keyword strategy, link building opportunities
- Analyze organic and PPC results/data and adjust accordingly utilizing tracking and analytics solutions
- Stay abreast of latest SEO/SEM trends, industry products, services, and information
- Work cross-functionally with development team to ensure SEO best practices, continued innovation and improvement as it relates to SEO and online marketing
- Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships and drive high customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Two - three years of direct, hands-on SEO/SEM experience
- Solid understanding of internet marketing - SEO/SEM, online lead generation, supporting technologies
- Basic knowledge of HTML, website analytics, PPC, e-mail marketing programs
- Hands-on, professional experience with internet marketing and media strategy, planning and campaign management
- Ability to understand client goals and how they translate into an online marketing strategy
- Organized self-starter who can work independently, execute quickly and multi-task
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Google Advertising Professional is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required

Web Developer - Charlotte, NC
Practis is seeking a talented, well-rounded and creative front end web developer to join our fast growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop websites using XHTML, CSS and PHP
- Update, maintain and implement company web applications
- Resolve website-related technical issues
- Design, develop, and administer new features on websites
- Displays creativity and imagination
- Train clients on use of CMS
Required Skills:
- An online portfolio demonstrating design style and coding skills
- Knowledge of design and usability principles, web standards
- Expert in XHTML, CSS
- Expert in Photoshop, Flash, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery
- Experience working with PHP, backend developers, compiled solutions
- Experience working w/ design specs and comps
- Familiarity with search engine optimization
- One-two years professional experience in web design and development
- B.A. or B.S. in new media design or computer science
- Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task and problem solve
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, be proactive and work independently
The web developer will work as part of a team, which will include a client lead and a project manager. They may advise clients on ways of using the web to meet their needs, and will often be asked to suggest the latest functions and tools that could be used to increase a site's attractiveness and effectiveness.
