Web Developer
Practis is seeking a talented, well-rounded and creative front end web developer to join our fast growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop websites using XHTML, CSS and PHP
- Update, maintain and implement company web applications
- Resolve website-related technical issues
- Design, develop, and administer new features on websites
- Displays creativity and imagination
- Train clients on use of CMS
Required Skills:
- An online portfolio demonstrating design style and coding skills
- Knowledge of design and usability principles, web standards
- Expert in XHTML, CSS
- Expert in Photoshop, Flash, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery
- Experience working with PHP, backend developers, compiled solutions
- Experience working w/ design specs and comps
- Familiarity with search engine optimization
- One-two years professional experience in web design and development
- B.A. or B.S. in new media design or computer science
- Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task and problem solve
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, be proactive and work independently
The web developer will work as part of a team, which will include a client lead and a project manager. They may advise clients on ways of using the web to meet their needs, and will often be asked to suggest the latest functions and tools that could be used to increase a site's attractiveness and effectiveness.

Healthcare IT Sales Representative
Practis, a leading national health care web firm, is seeking an energetic Sales Representative to join their growing team. This candidate will be responsible for the overall support of new and existing health care client relationships. This position will coordinate resources involved with projects as well as apply knowledge of company products, services, and best practices to build and manage client relationships through pro active communication.
The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who has experience in the health care, healthcare IT, medical device or pharmaceutical industries working in a sales support role. This person should have an avid interest in the Internet, working knowledge of the health care industry as well as current trends in the web, Internet marketing, and web communities.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate company products and services to physicians and administrators through telephone and webinar.
- Effectively promote company products and services to meet client requirements.
- Handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with company methodology.
- Complete sales opportunities in a manner that is concise, timely, professional, ethical and persuasive and which leads the customer to action.
- Support the intake process for web programs, clarifying program and optional details as well as features.
- Work with new and existing health care clients directly to provide general service, managing multiple simultaneous client relationships and engagements.
- Assist with web project coordination.
- Assist with data collection and analysis.
- Document client-related activities using project management tools.
- Ensure timely resolution of client requests.
- Understand client’s objectives and manage their expectations.
- Assist with search engine marketing (SEM/ PPC) programs, optimization and associated reporting.
Requirements:
- Ability to build new, support and maintain existing client relationships via web and telephone.
- 2 years experience in a sales, marketing or web related role in a health care organization (health care technology, provider, medical device, pharma, web, marketing).
- Web analytics, SEM experience a plus.
- Understanding of SEO, web navigation, user interface requirements a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to fully assess client's needs by the affective use of requirements gathering.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or web technologies required.
- Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task and problem solve.
