Frequently Asked Questions
Q. I see that there is some content already added to the site. Can I change what is there?
A. Yes using the content management application, or CMS, that is included in this program you can revise any content in the main content areas for most pages of your site. That includes the main content area on your home page. You can customize the message used to what you prefer.
Q. Are there any areas that I cannot modify text?
Since the About Balloon Sinuplasty™ and Conditions areas are dynamically populated from a database, you will not be able to modify these pages.
Q. How can I add more patient education topics to the Conditions area?
Optionally you can add a hosted library of health content to your patient education area. This content is offered and licensed through Healthwise, a leading health care content provider.
Q. I'm concerned that my site will look like others within the program. What can I do to make it different?
A. All program sites are personalized with colors, imagery, and navigation titling thay you select. There are also options to add interactive features, content and functionality to your site to make it even more unique.
Q. Can I add more pages than the 10 provided in the program?
Yes. You simply identify how many additional pages you need and where you'd like them placed. We would set-up the pages for you to add your content. The set-up fee for additional pages is $50 per page.
Q. I'm not very web savvy. How easy is it to make updates to my site?
A. We like to say - if you can use Word, you can use our CMS. You simply open your browser and navigate to your log-in page, type in your user name and password, select the page you'd like to update and make your revisions.
Q. Is there any training available and what about ongoing support?
Yes. We will conduct a 1/2 hour teleconference training session
with up to two staff from your office prior to go live. If in the future you should have a support question regarding your CMS or the Balloon Sinuplasty™ content, please contact us during normal business hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST at 585-225-3340 or support@practisinc.com.
